I don't have anything in particular to ramble about today. It's just time that I ramble about something. There's plenty of fuckery going on. Picking a few is easy. Addressing them is pointless, but I'm going to do it anyway. The sheer level of my stubbornness knows no bounds, it seems:

Therefore, 

We are dropping bombs on people, murdering little tan colored children with air strikes. Obliterating lives in the name of "freedom". I'm not even sure what the bomb/s were dropped for exactly. Illogical things don't make sense to me. Logic states that one does not drop bombs on orphanages and daycares. I don't really give a shit what justification is used for such a hideous act. Never it it okay to drop bombs on many people because some of those people are assholes. If that is true then someone needs to drop a bomb on America because there are a lot of American assholes. 

An example of some American assholes that need bombs dropped on them are the 'established' media. YouTube used to a bastion for free thinkers (and many an internet troll, braindead, asshat, but free thinkers had a haven there among the retards). Currently, it's changing into something more 'established'. I fucking despise commercials. YouTube be didn't use to have any. One could watch the channels there without having to worry about some fucktard trying to sell you some shit you really didn't need. Now, commercials are everywhere--worse than ordinary television. Thank Almighty Thor's Red Beard for Adblock. 

Making the matter worse is the bullshit the Wall Street Journal started with Pewdiepie (who I watch) about his 'supposed' RACISM--a buzz word that doesn't mean anything really. It's an emotional key that is hit so that people go into sporadic-dumb-ass-reaction whenever the word is mentioned. The word has become a fucking cattle-prod, often jabbed at things for reasons that have nothing to do with the very real racism that infects this country like a virulent STD. Everything's goddamn racist except actual racism. 

Real racism is what's happening to Colin Kalpernick--that's some racist shit right there. Blackballing that dead sexy man because he wants to help people and bring peace to the world through acts of kindness unmatched by most. No one is talking about THAT in any real sense. They want to talk about Pewdiepie, who seems to be a pretty nice guy, who made a fucking joke. That joke pulled all the ad revenue from Youtube and the bullshit started. Advertisers don't want their shitty ads on Youtube videos with 'racist' content. 

Mainstream media, having caused FUNDS to be withdrawn from content creators with this absolute bullshit, horn in on Youtube--turning it bland-mush-gray just like everything else we are force fed. Taking it over. Slowly, but surely, making it theirs.

In a casual perusal of the internet in order to find out if Ellora's Cave had truly closed or not, I found that another one of the bigger publishers was going down the toilet as well. Sort of. 

I couldn't find Ellora's Cave, but in all truth, I didn't really look all that long. I noticed the death wails of the other company first and veered off in that most interesting direction. Seems like the same kind of shit going on. Samhain not paying authors because the publisher isn't making any money. 

Messy, childish back and forth emails between said publisher and bewildered writers, etc. Threats levied. Lies told. Profits stolen. 

Is it a shame that I think it's all kind of ... funny?

In a dull, repetitive way, of course.

Thing is, this surely looks like murder to me. The systematic murder of the larger, competitive, e-book publishers. Ellora's Cave made certain claims that I don't exactly disbelieve due to experience. I'm not sure what's going on with Samhain--no experience with them that matters--but it feels very familiar on one level (Imma pay my friends/fuck buddies and steal from the actual talent), and bigger than that on another.

Purposeful. Planned. Executed.
